I’m honored to be considered for one of the most important roles of your wedding day. My primary goal is to create a beautiful record of your day with the images and wedding video. I want you to be able to be yourself and enjoy every bit of your day while leaving the work up to me. I will capture all the emotional, funny and candid moments of your day and make a wedding video and photo album that will tell your love story!
A little bit about me:
I was born and raised in Europe before moving to Florida, where I fell in love with the sun and beaches. After graduating with a degree in photojournalism, I moved to Michigan, where I worked for newspapers and learned to drive in piles of snow. I’ve been shooting weddings since 2007, on mountain tops, beaches, city’s and hills. I’m blessed to be living in the beautiful hills of the Greenbrier Valley. I love country roads, community, coffee and local meat. I will get up at an ungodly hour to capture a foggy sunrise with my drone. When I’m not behind the camera I enjoy baking, running, swimming and having dinner parties. I would love to meet you and tell your story and together make some epic photos and a wedding video that will make you smile! – Jenny Harnish
Photography
My beginnings in photography started in a darkroom in Florida watching my images appear in trays of liquid chemicals. This new found love led me to pursue photography as a profession and I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in photojournalism. I've been published in numerous newspapers and magazines.
Video
The beauty of video is the ability to add sound and motion to images letting you relive your big day in ways still photography is limited. Videos can tell the story of the day and are easily sharable online for family and friends who were unable to attend. Highlight videos are 3-5 min that plays like a short movie set to your favorite song.
Editing
I use Photoshop, Lightroom and Final Cut Pro to edit photos and videos. A tight edit will keep the viewer wanting to see more. My goal is to edit with a purpose and deliver a product that will tell the story and be viewed for generations to come.
